Whether you’re dropping in for a relaxing afternoon or planning something special, walk-ins are always welcome, and reservations are encouraged during weekends and peak season.
We offer: kids’ birthday. celebrations, adult paint-and-sip socials, off-site events, and pottery-to-go options for creative fun wherever you are.
Shipping is also available for finished pieces, making it easy to take your memories home.

Our Story
Our story began when founder Alla Ionescu discovered her passion for pottery and painting while raising her children. What began as a personal artistic outlet soon grew into a way to connect with others and inspire creativity throughout her community. After successfully establishing multiple pottery painting studio locations across the Northeast, Alla continued following her love for art and people.
For more than 25 years, Alla was drawn to Hilton Head Island for its natural beauty and relaxed coastal lifestyle. After eventually making the island her home, she discovered that a short retirement only deepened her desire to reconnect with art, community, and creativity.
While searching for the perfect space on the island, Alla was fortunate to find a hidden gem — The Shops at Sea Pines Center — the ideal place to bring her vision to life. Surrounded by long-time, well-established, family-owned businesses such as Forsythe Jewelers, VIVID Gallery, Sea Love Candle Bar & Boutique, and many others, the center offers a vibrant and welcoming community that we are proud to call home.
Hilton Head has long welcomed visitors from around the world. Sea Pines Pottery will offer a relaxing and inspiring creative experience for both vacationers and locals alike. Guests will be invited to slow down, connect with family and friends, and create meaningful memories together. Each visit will provide the opportunity to craft a one-of-a-kind keepsake — a lasting reminder of their time on the island.
Opening this spring, just in time for a sun-filled summer on the island, Sea Pines Pottery will be a place where art, color, and creativity meet the calming rhythm of the beach and ocean. Like Alla’s other studios, Sea Pines Pottery will offer an extensive selection of pottery in a clean, welcoming, and relaxing environment. Guests can enjoy painting functional pieces finished with food-safe glazes — pottery that is not only decorative, but fully usable in everyday life, turning each creation into both art and a lasting memory.

The last table seating is 1 hour before closing.
Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday/Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
